performance, 3 video projectors on tripods ​

1973 is a performance with three video projectors on tripods. Multiples spaces overlap with one another: a journey underneath freeways in Los Angeles, the Thai student revolt in 1973, and the parliamentary elections of the current Thai military dictator in 2019. My shadow intercedes between the two projections, partly obscuring, partly revealing. I move a third projector, which shows subtitles that I sometimes read out loud.

​I  implicate my own position as observer and self-appointed custodian of Thai political history, while conducting research in the safety of the Western world.
